elfa® twin slot shelving originates from the first patent for twin slot systems by Sparring in 1947. Since then design, function and flexibility have been guidelines when developing new systems and products. The twin slot system has stood the test of time and is still one of the best ways to utilise wall space for storage. It works well both in domestic and commercial enviroments.

Designed and manufactured by Scandinavia’s leading producer of storage solutions – the elfa® range features a traditional double-slot system, a new hanging system and drawer systems. Built to exacting standards, using high grade steel for unwavering strength and support, the system feature an epoxy polyester finish that will not peel, fade or collect dust like many other types of material.

Compatibility with Spur Shelving Systems - Elfa systems are compatible with most of the spur shelving systems. While there have been cases of incompatiblity with older spur shelving systems, 9 out of 10 customers on our website have found Elfa to be compatible with the spur shelving system.

Materials
Brackets: Manufactured from Docol® YP Series cold reduced steel by Scandinavia's largest manufacturer of sheet steel. The main benefit of this unique steel is higher yield strength than ordinary mild steel. This means that the end product is lighter but will carry approximately 48% more weight, the most important benefit when applied to shelf brackets
Uprights: Manufactured from warm rolled steel

Finishes: Epoxy polyester powder coated White and Silver

Testing & Standards: Brackets have been successfully tested to 55Kg per bracket (ie 2 brackets x 1 shelf = 110Kg)
